Evaluate FrameCycler DDS

FrameCycler DDS 2008 provides unlimited direct-from disk playback

FrameCycler Digital Daily System 2007 is a powerful review and approval tool, ideally suited for post houses and VFX facilities. The application provides unlimited real-time playback of uncompressed frame sequences at HD, 2K, and higher resolutions. FrameCycler DDS 2007 can both provide conventional and stereoscopic playback and runs Windows, Mac, and Linux.

What's New in 2008
FrameCycler DDS 2008 offers interface and functionality enhancements including a more intuitive timeline, EDL conform, nVidia SDI-out, multiple playheads for version and shot comparisons, expanded LUT support, and more. ReviewLink, which allows for remote review sessions with current versions of FrameCycler or SpeedGrade, is included, and the DualStream stereoscopic playback module is now part of FrameCycler DDS.

DualStream Stereoscopic Module
IRIDAS has been doing stereoscopic playback since 2002 - but now you don't need to buy a special version of FrameCycler to do it. The DualStream stereoscopic module is now part of all FrameCycler 2008 and SpeedGrade 2008 applications.

Stereo playback is completely transparent with automatic detection of left/right eye clips and support for mirroring individual channels. Playback can either be directed to two individual DVI outputs or combined on a single screen for viewing with active shutter glasses. FrameCycler also supports the Samsung and Mitsubishi 3D DLP LED systems and the Zalman 3D display.

Efficient and Built to Integrate
Speed and flexibility have made FrameCycler DDS the leading digital daily playback software since it was first released in 2002. It can play virtually any known format thus saving the need for file conversion; image analysis tools and channel views make it easy to spot issues with source material for efficient review and approval; a command line interface allows for integration scripting to connect FrameCycler DDS into any pipeline.

Features The feature set of FrameCycler DDS 2008 is identical to that of FrameCycler Professional 2008. FrameCycler DDS adds EDL conform, SDI-out, direct-from-disk playback and ReviewLink host functionality.
